When you talk to the fine sales folks at Market Technoligies or visit their website - you will see and hear about them being around for 28 years and them being a member of the Better Business Bureau...  Lets look at those two statements closer than I did..

- We have been around for 28 years: 

When you ask if the program REALLY works, this is the answer they will keep giving you.  We could not be around for 28 years if what we sold did not work?  I can now answer that in one easy statement - "There is a sucker born every minute"!!  Why do we constantly look for diet magic pills that do not work?  Why - when we buy a -  no fail, 110% guaranteed diet pill that does not work do we then purchase the next latest and greatest one that comes out in 6 months!!  How many "get rich quick" schemes and programs have you seen advertised in the last 30 days and yet people keep on plunking down their hard earned cash.   We Americans offer an ever deepening pool of "do nothing - want to be rich" suckers to pool from.

- We have been members of the Better Business Bureau for the last 20 years:

First of all this is a true statement - but do you know what this means?  The first requirement to be a member of the BBB is to pay an annual membership fee.  You then have to respond to complaints people file with the Better Business Bureau.  For example, I could run an escort service or adult bookstore and pay the annual fee to the BBB and have also been a member for the last 20 years.  I am not saying there is anything wrong with running an adult bookstore or escort service, but walk in to your local church and ask them if being a BBB member makes the adult bookstore an upstanding business..  Just remember that being a member of the BBB just says you paid your dues and you have agreed to respond to the BBB if someone files a complaint against you...

So now for the rest of the story.  This is the part I wish I would have done research on prior to dropping $4k..  There have been plenty of complaints against made to the BBB regarding Market Technologies.  And now the BBB list all of the online.  It would have taken me less than 5 minutes to find out what I needed to know.
